Rented

The house is a mess, and I am not concerned about it one bit. Why? Because no one will be coming to look at the house today. It's no longer for sale. We found someone to rent it, and we need to move as soon as we can get into another home. I have kind of a bittersweet feeling about it. It really is the best thing for us and we have been working towards it for so long, but at the same time we have lived here longer than we have lived anywhere since we've been married. It will be really sad to move away from JW & Alli. Being so close to them has been the best part of being here. Maybe in a couple of years they will feel like moving closer to Wake county. =) We looked at houses in Raleigh on Saturday and found some that we liked. Our first two choices were already under contract, but I think the house we will go with will work well. I'm actually really happy to just be looking for something to rent rather than to buy. I don't have to worry about whether or not it will be easy to resell, and we can just wait and see where Nate's office moves to next summer.

This will be so much better for Nate, I got to have the baby without worrying about changing doctors, and the girls have only been in school for a week. I guess while they are still transitioning into having a new baby and going to school we might as well throw in the change of a move, too. Just get it all done at once! The girls don't seem to have any problems with moving, but then we've talked about doing it for over a year. I don't think they really get the changes that will happen with a new school and new neighborhood and new church. I'm glad they're not worried about it before it happens. So, here we go ....

That's awesome! We rented our townhome for several years. We lived too far away to keep checking up on it and we had one bad renter that messed it up. But we sold it after that. You'll be closer so it will be easier to make sure they don't destroy it! Good luck moving.

We'll miss you guys too! I'm just trying not to think about it. At least you aren't moving across the country and we can still get together. I think the timing is really good for your family. Now, I'll just have to break the news to our kids when they come back from M&S house....wish me luck! :(

We moved from Georgia to Creswell when Gary was 5 weeks old & Greg nearly 4. We left a house unsold but empty in GA--left a realtor to sell it. We lived on Lake Phelps for 6 years and then?--moved into a "double-wide" for 13 years!!!! Doesn't get any better than that! You'll be fine! Just wouldn't want to be moving away from JW & Alli--OUCH! Good luck, Little One!
