This was at our church Halloween party. Nikki was flapping her arms like she was flying.

I had to get a picture of their face paint before they smeared it off, but they actually didn't mess with it all night long. I was going to do a butterfly on Hannah's face as well, but Nikki's was so difficult that I talked her into just having rosy cheeks. She went for it.

i know what you mean about the face painting. i tried to draw a spider on elise's face for "spider day" and it was so hard. i had to redo it about 3 times before i felt like i could let her out the door without looking like she had some weird growth or something on her cheek. i'm definitely NOT an artist. =)
I'm certainly no artist, either. I had a template for the butterfly. My facepaint was like 3 years old, so it was really hard to use and I was afraid it was going to leave a rash or something. It turned out to be okay, but I'm not excited about doing it again anytime soon. I think a spider would be way out of my league!
