Thanks, you NC folks, for sparing JW & Alli this week--we had a BLAST last night. I couldn't help but look at JW & Gary standing on the landing as they left and realizing they are the same recalcitrant kids who spent half the summer standing on the edge of the mum field "fired"--and they are the fathers of NINE kids (and, as Alli pointed out, 7 of them are GIRLS!)!! We missed you!!
Nate got both of those desks at a garage sale for $6, so we spent the rest of the Saturday sanding them down and repainting them. One turned out nicely. I think we'll list the other one on Craigslist for $10.
Eileen, that is so neat that you guys could all visit. Isn't Kate adorable? It would be fun to see her and Wyatt together. I would have loved to be there. I can't wait for Kim and Julie to post some pictures on their blogs!

It's awesome how big Ryan looks! And the girls are gorgoeus, it really doesn't seem like it's been THAT long. Thank goodness for blogging!
