What's for supper tonight, Mom? Chocolate cake. Pause. Really? Sure, Dad's at work, why not? Interestingly enough, about an hour later the girls realized why it's not such a good idea to just have cake for supper. Nikki actually asked for something healthy to eat. I liked that lesson.
Later when Nate came home, he asked, Do you mind if I do the dishes? Pause. Um, sure go ahead. No problem.

I like your answers too! I want chocolate cake for dinner :)
You rock!
I'm afraid my girls would never admit that cake wasn't satisfying. You were brave to try that experiment. Lydia & Eliza had such a good time last night with Nikki & Hannah. Lydia asked me several times before school when she could play with them again. Thank heavens for the Carolina cousins! They are a calming and very good influence on our entire family.

I totally understand! I'm rather lax on Tues night when Josh doesn't get home until late. Tonight, Jayden had cottage cheese and toast & jam....I forgot about the jello that's in the fridge!?
