Family Tree

This was a cool project I got from a lady at church. It's our family tree, and I'm quite excited about how it turned out -- even with my lousy handwriting. I think it will look nice with our family pictures in the living room. I just have to get a frame for it now.

Ok, so now you have to tell me what materials you used. That would make a great Christmas gift for my folks or Cory's!

Well, I didn't buy the materials. I just paid $1 to the girl that let me use her materials, but it was a 12 x 12 sheet of high quality scrapbooking paper. And the pen was white with the word "uniball" in the name of it. Sorry I can't be more specific. I used black paper with white ink because I think it will look nice with my living room decor. She also had some brown paper with gold ink that would be pretty. You can certainly use whatever color scheme will match where you're displaying it.

I forgot to add in my own anniversary date, but I used the marriage dates of the other couples either as a branch or just a continuation of one of the lines. I practised a little bit on a scratch page to figure out where the lines with long names needed to go and things like that.

Wilhemena Arimeter Phillips...I have always remembered that name from your geneology. Kellee & I use to laugh about that one! I still can't figure out why none have you have used that for one of your kids?!

I LOVE the idea. It looks GREAT!
